Library Way #1

When we go to NYC, as my husband and I did a couple of weeks ago (yes, we were there for the car bomb scare and only a half a block away at the theater), we stay near Bryant Park, perhaps my very favorite place in NY.  On the other side of the library from the park is a street called Library Way and imbedded into the sidewalk are brass plates with quotes from thoughtful (and famous) writers.  I didn’t take pictures of all of them, but I’ll be posting a series over the next weeks of the plates I did snap a photo of.

So without further ado:

E.B. White (to Thurber)

I thought this was hysterical, though my husband didn’t.
